All the time when Blogger posts nicely written and very informative article on their blog, they want to get indexed them by google. Blogger want google to visit new article on their blog and list in search results pages as soon as possible, so that new pages can start receiving traffic from search engines at earliest.
Is it possible that, you post new article and publish it on your wordpress blog and within minutes, it starts appearing in google? Yes, sure. If you will follow my guidelines for your wordpress blog, you can also see the results fast.
Before you try this with your blog, let me tell you that, your blog must be original, unique and genuine and should not break any blogging rules, no copied content, no automated blogposts, etc. Because doing so will lower your value in google’s mind and google will try to neglect your new posts. Don’t worry if you are regular Blogger and write your article your self or at least you are sure that articles are original, you can see the magic of fastest indexing with your blog.
So, here is how to do. First your wordpress blog need to be configured for this. You must install Google sitemap generator plugin in your blog, which generates sitemap automatically when you change, edit, or create new posts on your blog. Submit your sitemap in google webmaster tools, create your google webmaster tools account if you don’t already have and submit your blog there with your sitemap.
Another thing to do is enter list of the sites that accepts pings to get notified on newly posted articles. Pinging mechanism is already there in wordpress by default. You can just find the ping list from google and enter it in wordpress admin panel.
So, now your blog is configured with the necessary requirements. Let us take an example to understand the posting method easily. We are going to post new article which is titled “this is my new article” for example. Open your browser and go to add new post. Select category, enter title, content, tags, etc and publish your article. Once you published it, open a new tab in your browser and visit google.com, search for “site:your-blog.com” without double quotes. Select advanced search options given in left sidebar and click on “within last 24 hours”. This will show you the pages that are indexed in google from your site within last 24 hrs.
Probably you will see there “no results found” error message. Now go to your admin panel and go to Google sitemap generator settings. Click on ‘generate your sitemap manually’, it will also notify the google webmaster tools and google.com itself about the update of sitemap. Keep refreshing your google results, and I am sure you will see your newly posted article there within a minutes.
Note: If your blog is previously banned by google for duplicate content penalty or any other rules; you may not see this fast indexing result. For such blog, you can try posting fresh and original content to improve your blog quality and frequency of google visits on your blog. Then after few weeks you can see this results with you blog also.
