4 Big Reason To Stop Using Blogger
Blogspot is a blogging engine provided by Google. It is a free tool where you can create a blog. But talking professionally there are certain tweaks in blogspot. So I would personally advice all the professional bloggers that if they are having there professional blogs on blogspot, kindly move it on a private domain to avail the benefits that you are deprived off, by having a blog on blogspot.

4 Big Reason to stop using Blogger.com
There are certain reasons due to which I am advising the bloggers and today I am going to share those reason that why you should not have a blog on blogspot.
1) Google needs no help of yours: Let us take an example that you own a business and have your own business website hosted on personal domain (e.g. yourname.com). Now when you have a blog and host it on blogspot (e.g. yourname.blogspot.com), believe me you are depriving your blog of the benefit of search engine optimization. Google does not need your help to rank higher in it’s own search engine, so you are just benefiting Google and not yourself by hosting a blog on the blogspot. So if you trust my words then do buy a private domain as soon as possible, even though you are not planning to shift the blog to private domain. In this way at least you do not loose all the optimization done on your professional blog.
2) You get locked up with the domain: To explain this in a simple terms let us do with an example. Suppose you run a successful blog on SEO, and you have hosted it on blogspot with the domain name seomaster.blogspot.com. Now you want to transfer thus blog on any of your private domain named seoexpert.com. Now the problem comes when Google does not completely allow transferring a blog hosted on blogspot to any private domain. If you have received lots of comments on your blog and gained thousands of inbound links then Google does not allow you to transfer the search engine affection that you have gained in all those years. So this is quiet an evil side of Google, which the bloggers need to worry upon.
3) Big headache to transfer data: The next question arises is how to transfer data from blogspot to private domain? All knows that Google is much user friendly and it’s definitely must be having various API to successfully transfer the data. But we are wrong here. Most of the blogs must be loaded with thousands of article and thousands of comments. Now no Google API provides the facility to transfer those comments, which means you will be loosing the SEO effect that you have gained through comments. Also no Google API allows transferring all the articles at the same time, there is limit in the number. So the only solution to it is writing a personal and thousands of line code on your own to transfer the content successfully. This is a big headache to think twice before creating a blog on blogspot.
4) Limited features: Though blogspot is a product of giant Google, but when talking of the blogging platform it is lacking far behind in the comparison of the features that the other blogging platform like WordPress provides. Blogspot does not support functionalities line article tagging, comment subscription, integration to other sites like Technorati. May be some of the features are not of that interest to the bloggers presently, but when they would be planning to earn customers and business from the blog you might need the missing features.
So it is the ripe time now to work upon the mistake of creating a blog on the blogspot by transferring it to a private domain. Though blogspot is free, it’s actually not. You are investing lot of time in it, and time is priceless.
