Excellent article on DO and NO Follow links. I had no idea that there was such a difference. I myself as a newbie could not have understood the subject matter any better than how you explained it. Thanks a lot for having content that is universally understood by Pro’s and Newbies. I’ll stay tuned and look forward to reading more of your articles.

You explain this pretty well. However, you didnt mention that Nofollow links DO provide anchor text … So it does provide something when used strategically.

If you do any backlink research or when you are reverse engineering the competition you will notice that many NOFOLLOW links are indeed helping their rankings.

Although I have seen and been to Google conferences where they have said that NOFOLLOW links does not count towards a vote for your site. I have used them (no proof if it was those links or not) to dominate many broad niche markets.

When I reverse engineer a competitor I will duplicate their efforts (as closely as possible) and improve upon it.

A good example of a good NOFOLLOW link would be a link from YouTube.

I will not take up any more of your comment section but I would love to share any information if you so care for me to.

I have been using these links from years. DO not be go blindly. as your own twist while creating accounts on forum.

I am not agree with any of your point. Yes Unrelated Niche might create the difference but its not useless and time waste. even backlink from irrelevant niche is worth while. And About Google penality Do you know How, Why and When google give penalty to Website ?

I am not affiliate with these backlinks packages at all but i am just posting here bcoz i am not agree with your terms. do not give wrong conception to people when you are not sure about what are talking about.

Forum profiles are still worth while you just need to remove footprints in exact manners.

@Bili. Maybe your domain is with www. in one of accounts. So http://www.yourdomain.com and yourdomain.com google see as diferent domains.

Interesting read. Wasn’t actually aware of the difference but just assumed do follow links held more value.
